We’re very excited to have partnered with Skimlinks to bring more transparency and actionable data to our clients’ affiliate campaigns.

Skimlinks is the leading commerce content platform. As the world’s largest commerce content monetisation platform, it helps grow a revenue stream that can contribute as much as a quarter of a publisher’s overall revenue, which enables publishers to be less dependent on advertising.

Our new partnership will bring more transparency and actionable insights to our clients in order to allow them to further optimise their affiliate campaigns.

Advertisers want to have greater control on their marketing spend and to understand what drives performance, Affiliate marketing is the safest of the digital marketing channels as advertisers only pay when a sale actually happens. Our new partnership with Skimlinks is set to lead the industry into a new age of affiliate marketing where advertisers have even greater visibility on where the sales are coming from, allowing them to better reward the best performing publishers.

We will be integrating Skimlinks performance data into our advertiser dashboard. Our clients will have full access to indicators such as impressions, clicks, conversions and order value that will help them evaluate the quality of the traffic they receive from publishers.

With a better understanding of where their leads come from, our clients will also have direct control of the commission rates they offer to publishers in order to reward those with the most effective campaigns.

Sebastien Blanc, CEO of Skimlinks said “Transparency and increased sales are Skimlinks’ key engagements toward Advertisers. With our partner networks like Rakuten Marketing surfacing our data in their interface, advertisers will have access to the full detail of the traffic sources so they know where their affiliate campaigns are the most efficient and they reward publishers accordingly.“

Rakhee Jogia, VP of Publisher Partnerships of Rakuten Marketing said “There is an increasing shift in focus towards transparency, not only in the programmatic industry and Open Real-Time Bidding (RTB), but affiliate marketing has always prided itself on sharing this information. We’re excited to launch the next phase of our transparency initiative in conjunction with Skimlinks, as they represent a network of some of the best publishers in the world. Offering our advertisers full transparency on where their traffic and sales come from is essential, and it allows us to further support our publishers, who are looking to maximise their yield, whilst we support our advertisers’ key objectives.”
